I really liked the idea of doing an unboxing video, but I wanted to do something fun and a little different (also, I didn’t really want to be in front of the camera).

Why do I feel like all of my practice making short poetry films has led to this?

Also, yes, while this isn’t a candid video of me opening and holding my book for the first time, I think it captures the joy and fun of this whole process much better than I could ever demonstrate or articulate on the fly.
