Favorite Corners - Las Vegas

We've been to Vegas quite a few times now.  The lights, the bustle, and the hustle never seem to change, even if the skyline does have a few new additions since our last visit.  This time around, we sought out some corners we that hadn't seen, and we even found a few "secret" ones too.

It's very easy to mistake this for an ordinary hallway amidst the ritz and glitz of the Cosmopolitan hotel.  Welcome to the unmarked entrance of Secret Pizza.  Some of the cheapest pizza on the strip, and pretty decent too.

Admittedly, we've seen this before, but I'm a Dale Chihuly fan, and this ceiling installation in the Bellagio lobby is still gorgeous.

"The Chandelier" lounge dazzles with its strings upon strings of glittery crystals.  Wow.

Yep.  A vending machine for shoes.  Nothing kills a party mood quiet like numb toes and blistered heels, so here's a little something to keep the party going.

It used to be that Freemont street was the only attraction downtown, but there are a few new things to see now.  This is Container Park, a little playground/outdoor mall area made of, you guessed it, shipping containers.

The Hulkbuster is currently guarding the entrance to Madame Tussauds wax museum.  For more Marvel goodness, there is also the Marvel S.T.A.T.I.O.N. (Scientific Training and Tactical Intelligence Operative Network) attraction located at T.I.

Okay, there had to be one shot of The Strip in here.  Get free stunning views from the 23rd floor lobby of the Mandarin Oriental.

The Mandarin Oriental lobby.  It's so posh here, the elevators have velvet cushioned benches to ride up on.

Not listed on any official map (we stared at one for so long a concierge person stopped by to help us), the koi pond in the Wynn hotel is a peaceful oasis of light, foliage, and, of course, koi.
