Food Fridays - Granada

Ham! Ham! Ham! Granada was the place we pigged out on that delicious, special, dry-cured Spanish ham or jamon.  It was our afternoon treat.  Every afternoon.  Actually, to be honest, Granada was a very meat-centric food experience.  We did eat other things, but the best meals were for the carnivores.

"Meat" the dish that succeeded in putting Jimmy into a meat coma for a few hours.  There's blood sausage, chorizo, pork, lamb, and beef.

Some things sound more interesting than they actually taste. This is pieces of squid and beans covered with squid ink.

A thick hearty special soup of the day loaded with potatoes, veggies, and chunks of beef.

Our favorite taverna always delivered free tapas with our drinks.

A very filling Spanish omelet.

Our favorite Serrano ham.  A board of this, some bread, and olives makes a great filling snack.

Meet the pricey Iberico ham from special acorn-fed pigs with black hooves.

Rabo del Toro.  Oxtails again.  This one was like a meaty oxtail poutine.
