Cliffside

There are times when it doesn't make sense to move forward, and all we need to do is stay in place and enjoy the moment. I've been to this cliffside many times before, but this was the first time we made a deliberate attempt to stay and enjoy it. And so, I ended up close to the ground, filming some really great footage with no poem in mind. It always takes me so much longer to write a poem for footage. But sometimes, because it’s not my normal order of creation. I can get something unique out of it. That said, this probably the closest I'll ever come to writing a love poem.
