Flash Fiction Roundup
It’s not every day a piece of mine makes it onto a reading list, and with a very kind and generous mini-review to boot!
I was totally surprised when I found out “Small Mythologies from a Late Summer Garden” was mentioned in a monthly recommended reading list for sci-fi, fantasy, horror, and other speculative flash and micro-fictions. It was thrilling to be listed, but what really touched me was the review that Myna Chang gave. In a few short sentences, I felt that she not only liked the piece, but she also understood the little nuggets of meaning that I had tucked in there. To have a piece seen as it was intended is such an affirming feeling as a writer.
Very honored to be a part of Myna Chang’s Flash Fiction Roundup for the Month of June.
