In Nevada

Filmed in the desert outskirts of Las Vegas, this is my first out-of-country shoot (totally unintentional, but I couldn’t resist the scenery).

The poem had been kicking around for a while, too brief to submit anywhere. I wasn’t sure I would ever do anything with it, but as soon as we started walking around in the desert, I remembered a line about tortoises.

Fun fact, this is the shortest short poetry film to date, clocking in at a swift 44 seconds.
