I’ve got two new poems “The Sunday Ruins of La Chiesa” and “The Abacus of Dreamscapes” in the wonderful (and very fitting) Issue 19 of Glassworks Magazine which is all about “Memory & Rumination, Conflicted Relationships, Liminal Spaces.” A contributor copy just arrived in my mailbox so I decided to introduce it to the neighbourhood and take a few book portraits.

The beautiful Windmill - Issue 4 is home to another flash fiction piece of mine called “Cornish Hens”. There are indeed Cornish hens in this story, but also included are some bunny barrettes and fatty pork bandages as well.

Read MoreFebruary to June. 5 months. That is the span of time where myself and 18 other writers found a home for their work at the wonderful literary magazine Atlas and Alice. Our work was posted online throughout the months and were then compiled into this latest issue in sort of a beautiful look back. Sitting here, at the end of July, I’ve realized that the year is over half done, and personally, the first part feels like a bit of a blur. I find myself hoping that maybe the second half of the year will be a bit more careful, crafted, full of pictures and a few more stories.
