Food Fridays (mini version) - Florence May 6, 2016 Jenny Wong We took a day trip from Rome to Florence to take in the architecture and, of course, the food. We made a meal of cheese, salami, and bread. Sometimes the simplest things are the best. Panini with ham, cheese, and arugula spread Normally, we're tea drinkers, but coffee in Italy is something not to be missed. Heaping mounds of gelato are whittled down to the containers by the end of the day. Our new favorite flavors: kiwi and strawberry prosecco.
