Food Fridays - Rome

A prosciutto and Buffalo mozarella sandwich and...The Fabius burger (named after the owner of the restaurant):  250 grams of beef, salad, egg Bismarck, bacon, provola cheese, mayonnaise, ketchup

A mushroom pizza covered with delicately thin veils of procuitto

Light creamy panna cotta and fresh strawberries

Okay, so beef in Italy isn't bad either.

A special porchetta sandwich.  To quote the menu: roast pork from Arricia with aromatic herbs, mozzarella buffalo cheese, grilled eggplant from Puglia, grilled peppers, french fries, mushrooms, salad, olives and mayonnaise.

Ravioli stuffed with ricotta cheese and spinach in an asparagus sauce

Roman oxtail vaccinara

For something light and non-carb-filled, a vegetable soup hits the spot
