New Forum Magazine Issue #2

In 2014, the Art Central building in downtown Calgary was demolished. During its final days, I wandered the empty floors, took some final pictures, and wrote a poem about fate of the koi pond in the basement.

I submitted that poem to a lot of different places, but I guess it always had its own plans of being close to home. It found a beautiful page in Issue 2 of the local literary magazine New Forum.
