Sacred Grounds Open Mic Night (Virtual Reading)

Sacred Grounds is the longest-running open mic in San Francisco and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to be a featured reader.

This amazing venue has been hosting poets every week since 1972. Originally set in a bricks-and-mortar venue, the weekly open mic has now gone virtual.

For one night only, and what a night it was! Not only did I get to listen to some world-class spoken word poets, but I also got to share a few of my own poems from “Shiftings & Other Coordinates of Disorder” as well as a few poetry films.
