Split Lip Magazine - Tiny Flash Fiction Finalist
Sometimes stats and numbers are nice. They frame expectations and give perspective. My favorite calls are ones where there are constraints. In this case, for their 10th Anniversary celebration issue, Split Lip wanted small stories in less that 275 words. My little story “Polygon” clocks in well under that given limit at 141 words. One final stat, “Polygon” made it to the Flash Fiction Finalist List which means top 12 out of 550 small fiction entries.
Unfortunately, in the end, this piece didn’t make the cut into the anniversary issue, but I’m still counting it as a win!
