Sylvia Magazine - November 2022

I spent two weeks at writing retreat at the Banff Centre which is located at the base of Sleeping Buffalo Mountain. It was March, so there was still snow on the ground and treacherous ice on the paths. Also, there was a cougar warning in the area. Despite these, I found myself wandering outside a lot. These three little haiku were born there. And three years later, they found a home.
