This was the first time I got a rejection that wasn’t really a rejection. I had originally submitted this poem for consideration in one of Full House Literary’s themed issues. After all the submissions had been reviewed, I was notified that while I was not selected to be a part of the issue, they did like the work and asked if they could put it under their Featured Creators section which holds work that they loved, but didn’t quite fit into the issue. Of course, I said yes. I’m counting this one as a win and the best rejection/not rejection ever.
