Honey Literary, Issue 4

Collaboration is an interesting process. There’s trust. There’s letting go in order to allow something to be better. There’s openness to new words, ideas, or formats. The latest collaboration I did resulted in not one, but two hybrid poems combining ekphrasis, erasure, and gif. Whew!

Read “Things the Moon Does in its Crescent Shape” and “A Commuter’s Journey into Sunset” , an ekphrastic/erasure/gif collaboration with the ever-talented writer and visual artist Sylvia Santiago, up at the beautiful Honey Literary.

NOTE: these are gifs, so they will change. Just give them a few moments…

This is how the day ends…
